IT Systems / Business Systems Manager - Ayrshire

Responsible for review of all software requirements that the business has in conjunction with key stakeholders to assess suitability. Partner with key stakeholders within the organization to understand the opportunities, identify systems solutions, and define requirements for future software platform development. Scoping of business requirements to create specification documents for new software solutions. Undergo training with Software providers to enhance knowledge base of current systems to facilitate improved Utilisation. Reduce dependency on External support where viable through training, targeting the areas of.

Experienced in SAP B1 ERP and associated warehousing and MRP packages. Extensive experience of ERP systems and how they function. Ensure maximum utilisation of systems thro review of each departmental area to create GAP analysis for evaluation and action. Target reduction on use of MS programs being used to analyse data in conjunction with improved utilisation of main systems. Set up improved reporting capability utilising Crystal reports software. Become lead contact for all External support issues to improve efficiency by tackling 1st level support in house where applicable. Manage Support contract to ensure Data is protected with suitable Backup and recovery options. Interact with software developers, technical architects and business analysts to develop accurate Technical specifications reflecting the business needs.

Ability to effectively lead and drive change in a dynamic environment . Effectively lead and influence peers, organization and leaders across the Organisation on systems development. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail evidenced through sound analytical skills. Ability to creatively solve problems and provide timely and sound recommendations. The ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations, strong critical thinking skills and the ability to be decisive while working cooperatively with others.
