The Position
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful applicant will define, action & implement ERP / Infrastructure & Application releases/upgrades & take responsibility for managing external resources.
Specific Duties are to include:
Enterprise Resource Planning
• Map ERP business requirements & develop technical specifications.
• Develop and implement new ERP system releases & produce relevant documentation.
• Data conversion.
Applications
• Set up improved reporting capability utilising Crystal reports software
• Project management, planning, software testing & support.
Infrastructure
• Manage all network and hardware, identify and Implement changes.
• Identify and Negotiate 3rd Party Contracts.
• Manage supplier SLAs (Hardware, operational Infrastructure etc.)
Service Delivery
• Execute agreed Service Level / Service Management standards.
• Identify & implementation of continual improvements.
• Change & Incident Management.
Business Analysis
• Conduct “as is” analysis and map out current state.
• Gather and define detailed development/project requirements.
• Organise and manage workshops as required.
• Produce functional specifications & internal documentation relating to the full lifecycle.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have the following background:
Key Skills
• Proven experience of managing an IT department.
• Experience in IT infrastructure planning and development.
• Experience of managing budgets in excess of £250,000 per annum.
• Strong team leading skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Technical Skills
• Application MI reporting and Analysis.
• Networking, Web Services and Telephony.
• Business Systems (ERP), more specifically SAP B1 & MRP packages.
Personal Attributes

The Package
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000+ DOE
