The challenge

An ambitious and aggressive Scottish success story are looking for a Consultant to join their Glasgow City Centre based technology team. This role is the bridge between the Client and the Developers; working closely with all stakeholders concerned to ensure that new Clients projects are successfully delivered. The successful applicant will be responsible for business requirements & analysis, project management, delivery of relevant training, client relationship management, process re-engineering, KPI management and reporting and product configuration.

Technical skills required

• Superb relationship management ability and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Experience in managing varied client projects.
• Self managing and motivated.
• Strong numerical skills and the ability to interpret sometimes complex key performance indicators.
• Business analysis and process mapping skills.
• An awareness of development and infrastructure technology.
• Exposure to commercial technology and contracts.
• Experience in training users in technology.

The person

You will have 5 years experience in a Client-facing Business Analyst, Project Management or Account Management role within a technology environment.

A strong and assertive personality is crucial to success in this position. As such, you will have a ‘can do’ attitude, with the ability to work with various personalities both internally and externally. You will have the attention to detail that is required to spot and suggest process improvements, and have a confident, professional approach to customer service.

Although you will have a technology background, a technical skillset is not essential for this role. However a general understanding of development and infracstructure terminology is required.
