Technical skills – 5 years experience in the IT services industry, selling into Scotland’s commercial sectors. Strong new business sales skills, face to face client relationships and successful performance background in negotiation deals from £250k – 1.5 million. Strong presentation and negotiation skills along with an understanding of total cost of ownership and a thorough understanding of managed services costing models.
The challenge – To target all Scotland’s commercial sector (everything bar Public sector) and build up a trusted network of clients to service all their infrastructure, mobility and hardware requirements. You will be able to hold technical discussions about what technology can do to improve business efficiency and provide a return on investment. At the same time you will benefit from a strong brand, excellent case studies and a fantastic delivery records. You will be selling knowing your company can and will deliver.
The person - The successful candidate will come from a similar sales/business development background in infrastructure services and will also have a good product knowledge of Infrastructure products and services, such as mobilization, business continuity, disaster recovery and managed service deals worth £250k plus. You will have the full support of the regional sales manager and generally enjoy a complex sales cycle.
