You will be able to hold technical discussions about what technology can do to improve business efficiency and provide a return on investment. Technical skills - 4 years experience in the IT services industry, selling into Scotland’s commercial sectors. Strong new business sales skills, face to face client relationships and successful performance background in negotiation deals from £50k – 100k. Strong presentation and negotiation skills along with an understanding of total cost of ownership and a thorough understanding of managed service costing models.
The person - The successful candidate will come from a similar sales/business development background in infrastructure services and will also have a good product knowledge of infrastructure products and services, such as mobilization, business continuity, disaster recovery and managed service deals worth £100k plus. You will have the full support of the regional sales manager and generally enjoy a complex sales cycle.
