Financial institution is looking for 4 performance testers to be based in their Glasgow office for an initial period of 3 months. The right candidate must have experience of implementing HP/Mercury tools and have a background of designing and implementing performance test plans and approaches from the ground up. Extensive hands on experience of the HP Performance Centre/Loadrunner tool including Web (HTTP /HTML), MS SQL Server, Oracle, ODBC protocols are a must. On a technical level the successful candidate will have live programming (C, C++, Java, .NET, VB, HTML, SQL) skills and demonstrable experience of performance/Load test scenario profiling, Code functions and libraries, Network and/or database analysis and monitoring and solid knowledge of UNIX, Windows, Oracle, Mainframe and J2EE application servers. Responsible for test completion reporting including results analysis, evaluation and reporting (inc recommendations) to project stakeholders. It is desirable that in addition to core performance test skills the successful candidate will have experience of all phases of testing, including integration, regression and non functional testing ideally within the financial services industry. Experience of statistical analysis and performance modelling methods would be beneficial as would wider experience of functional automation testing tools and techniques.
